Authorized AED & Accessories Dealer

AED stands for “Automated External Defibrillator.” An AED is used to administer an electric shock to a person who is having a cardiac arrest. AEDs are designed to allow non-medical personnel to save lives.

AEDs are very easy to use and can be used by practically anyone who has been shown what to do. In fact, there are a number of cases where people with no training at all have saved lives.

If your Organization or Business needs to purchase one AED or a hundred we can help you.

We will assist you in all aspects of placing your AED, the actual purchase of your AED, implementation of your AED program, helping you maintain it, as well as training for you and your staff on how to use you AED.

N95 Fit Tests for Dental, Optometric, and other Medical Practices

To help dentists, optometrists, and other medical practices safely re-open in our new COVID-19 world, we are offering Qualitative N95 Fit Tests.

In our experience with these tests, typically 10-15% of the people we test discover that they need to adjust the way they are using their mask in order to maximize protective benefits.

To schedule N95 Fit Tests for your practice staff, please contact us.

What does the Fit Test Involve?

We use the 3M FT-30 Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus, which consists of a hood with a collar, nebulizer, and the Bitter and/or Sweet solutions. It uses your sense of taste or smell in order to detect leakage into the respirator face piece under a variety of use cases, including turning your head, speaking and more.

How long does a N95 Fit Test take?

Typically, 12-15 minutes per person.

Who provides the masks? You do.

Each participant must bring their own mask -- either N95 or KN95 mask for fitting. Masks are not provided by Safety 1st Seminars.

Where does Safety 1st Seminars perform the N95 Fit Tests?

We perform N95 Fit Tests at your location. To schedule yours, click here and then choose "N95 Fit Test" for reason.
