There is a 20 question written exam.

Heartsaver CPR Course designed for the lay rescuer who requires a credential for course completion. The course covers emergency resuscitation techniques, prevention, and use of barrier devices.
The Heartsaver CPR course trains lay rescuers to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies with adult, child, and infant victims.
Who's this class for? Teachers, Police, Personal Trainers, security personnel, non healthcare providers needing certification, and anybody who wants to learn CPR!
